WHAT IS INCLUDED IN MY TICKET
All tickets include entry to the event/film, your own deckchair, Silent Disco headsets or access to the film audio via the moonlit movies app. Tickets are expected to sell out, so gather your friends and purchase your tickets early.
WHERE CAN I BUY TICKETS?
Tickets can be purchased online here or via Film Programme and Tickets pages of this website. We have partnered with Ticketflap for all our Moonlit Movie ticket sales.
DO I NEED TO BE FULLY VACCINATED TO ATTEND?
In order to comply with HONG KONG government mandates, all persons entering the event must have a cleared COVID-19 status and log in with the LEAVE HOME SAFE app.
An individual is considered to have a cleared status if the individual has been:

Fully vaccinated

Recovered from COVID-19 within the last 180 days after infection (and can show proof).

Medically ineligible for COVID-19 vaccines, with valid proof.

You must scan your LeaveHomeSafe QR code to enter our venue.
WHAT TIME DO SCREENINGS START?
Screenings start at 7:30pm*on weeknights, 6:00pm followed by 8:30pm Sat nights and 6:00pm Sun nights. Gates, bar and food stall open about an hour before the films start. We encourage you to arrive early and enjoy the pre film ambience with friends over a drink as the sun sets.
*start time may be delayed depending on the light and if everyone is sitting comfortably.
IS THERE A BAR AT THE EVENT?
Yes, there is a bar on-site, selling reasonably priced alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks and snacks.
CAN I BRING MY OWN ALCOHOL OR FOOD?
Unfortunately not. There's a fully stocked bar at the event. We promise you will not go thirsty! All bags are checked for alcohol at the entrance. Our food stall should be more than sufficiant and we make it our policy to not overcharge like other events.
WHAT HAPPENS IF IT'S RAINING?
As an outdoor event, it is subject to prevailing weather conditions. Specifically, rain will not prohibit the screenings of films. Weather related cancellations will only occur if weather conditions present a danger at Discovery Bay area at screening time.
Patrons accept that in purchasing a ticket, they are paying for a screening and that weather conditions prior to the screening time and in other parts of Hong Kong will not result in a screening being cancelled. Patrons accept the risk that weather they consider unsatisfactory may occur on a screening night, and acknowledge that tickets will not be refunded if a screening is cancelled due to dangerous weather conditions at screening time.
In the unlikely event that a screening is cancelled, information will be posted on the event web pages and social media channels as well as the customers that made the online purchase of the tickets from our website will be emailed directly.
CAN I BRING MY BABY/YOUNG CHILD?
The films have age classifications, that must be adhered to for legal reasons. Even for a PG film, for insurance purposes, children (including babies & toddlers) at this event must be 5 years or older and have a valid ticket. This event is best enjoyed with your partner or friends.
CAN I BRING MY PET?
Sorry, strictly no pets are allowed at the event. it is HKRI's policy that no pets are allowed on the beach.
WHAT ARE THE SEATING ARRANGEMENTS?
The provided deck chairs will be set out in rows of 12 and are on a first come, first served basis. To avoid dissapointment please arrive early if you want a prime location.
